GE Vernova Warns Shareholders of Unsolicited Mini-Tender Offer from TRC Capital at Discounted Price.

GE Vernova (NYSE:GEV) has warned its shareholders about an unsolicited “mini-tender” offer by Canadian asset manager TRC Capital that targets a shareholding of about 0.4% in the US-based energy company. The offer seeks to buy one million GE Vernova shares at USD 155 apiece in cash, a 7.39% discount to the closing price on May 7. Shares in the company closed 0.52% higher at USD 167.27 on Friday, suggesting a market capitalisation of about USD 45.8 billion (EUR 42.4bn). GE Vernov, which recently spun out from General Electric Co, stated that it is not affiliated or associated with TTC Capital, its mini-tenders offer, or the offer documentation.
