FuelPositive Corporation has filed a provisional patent for its green aqueous ammonia production systems, FP300A and FP1500A, which could potentially transform the agricultural industry. The company aims to offer farmers a cheaper and greener method to produce fertilizer, producing aquequous ammonia of adjustable nitrogen concentration from their own farms. This could significantly reduce costs and greenhouse gas emissions associated with traditional ammonia production methods. FuelPositive’s module produces green ammonia on-site and adjusts the concentration, enabling farmers to customize their fertilizers as needed. It also allows farmers to select their green ammonia concentrations from 5% to 30% and customizes fertilizer pH balance. The modules use the same heating and cooling systems as their base modules to ensure an efficient process with simplified storage and handling. Fuel Positive anticipates having the first green aqous ammonia module pilot ready by the fall.
