Ford Backs Biden Administration’s Emission Regulations, Supports EPA’s New Rules for Heavy-Duty Vehicles and Passenger Cars.

Ford, one of the nation’s largest automakers, has supported the Biden administration’s efforts to reduce tailpipe emissions from vehicles in a brief filed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The company supports EPA’s efforts in regulating greenhouse gases and other emissions from heavy-duty vehicles. This comes after Ford expressed confidence in the agency’s new rule for passenger cars and trucks, stating it would create a level regulatory playing field. Ford is committed to reducing emissions in its own fleet and increasing production of electric vehicles and hybrids.
