FERC Chairman Willie L. Phillips has released a statement expressing his deepest condolences to President Fiordaliso, President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Phillips said that Fiords was a prince of a man and a towering figure in his line of work, always putting the needs of his constituents above all else. He also noted that President Fiordsi had just participated in his first meeting as a member of the Federal-State Joint Task Force on Electric Transmission, and that he made very clear how much he cherished this group. Phillips concluded that the regulatory community lost a giant today and that the outpouring of grief demonstrates just how deep a legacy he has left.
