Activist investor group, Arjuna Capital, is being sued by Exxon Mobil, promising to stop pursuing resolutions to address planet-warming emissions. The group has also stated that it expects Exxon to withdraw its lawsuit, albeit belatedly, and respect for the rights of shareholders. A federal court in Texas has ruled that ArJuna will not revisit its resolution. Judge Mark Pittman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas has directed Exxon to tell him by Friday what it believes is left to the case.
