CenterPoint Energy, the City of Evansville, and JD Sheth Foundation have collaborated to offer an enhanced weatherization program to Evansville residents. The program, funded by a $600,000 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant from the city, will allow customers previously approved for weatherization assistance who have been placed on a deferral list due to additional home repairs to receive CenterPoint Energy’s weatherization services. The company currently offers income-qualified weatherization programs at no cost to assist electric-only or combination natural gas and electric customers in identifying ways to make homes more energy efficient.
