EPA Chief Urges Youth Council to Influence Climate Action and Environmental Justice Ahead of 2024 Election.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan has urged the younger generation to seize the opportunity his agency has given to address climate change and aid disadvantaged communities. He met with the National Environmental Youth Advisory Council, a new outside board advising EPA on how to work with younger people on issues such as global warming and environmental justice. The council was established as President Joe Biden seeks to connect with young voters during his 2024 reelection bid. Regan encouraged the youth council members to make a difference in EPA’s decisionmaking processes.
