Israeli renewable power firm Enlight Renewable Energy is set to begin construction on a 392MWdc PV plant with 688MWh BESS in California in 2024. The project is expected to begin commercial operations in 2026. This is the company’s first project in California since acquiring ClÄ“nera in 2021. Prior to this project, ClÄ“nersa signed a PPA with Arizona Public Service (APS), the state’s largest utility, to sell power from its CO Bar solar and storage complex.
