US-based renewables specialist Enfinity Global has secured regulatory approval for a EUR-300-million ($317.7m) equity funding from London-based Intermediate Capital Group plc (LON:ICP). The funding is part of a larger EUR-400-million agreement announced in early 2023. Enfrastructure expects to close the remaining EUR 100 million in equity funding within a year. The proceeds will support Enfinite’s 20-GW-strong renewable portfolio, which includes 8 GW of energy storage assets. The firm is active in the US, Europe, Japan and India and currently has 1 GW of operational assets globally.
