Enfinity Global secures €300 million funding, partners with Kyushu Electric for US solar expansion plans.

Enfinity Global has secured €300 million in equity funding and sold a minority stake in its 400MW US solar plants to Japanese utility Kyushu Electric Power Co. The company has also secured US$150 million for 112MW of solar PV in Italy, where it has signed long-term power purchase agreements with Statkraft. This follows a significant increase in investment for Enfinity from January through 2023, when venture capital funding for the global solar industry rose 55% year-on-year. Of Enfinit’s 1GW operational portfolio, 400MW is located in the US. The firm plans to continue expansion plans in America, where its total pipeline portfolio exceeds 11GW.
