EnerVenue Launches Durable Metal-Hydrogen Energy Storage Units, Set to Revolutionize Battery Technology by 2024.

Metal-hydrogen battery firm EnerVenue has launched an integrated Energy Storage unit (ESV) that can cycle two to three times a day without rest, have a 30-year, 30,000 cycle lifetime, and 2-12 hour discharge rates, making it three to five times more durable than lithium-ion batteries. The company’s Energy Racks are now available to order and shipping in 2024. The battery design is based on a technology used by NASA and others for outer space power applications. EenerVenue started building a gigafactory in Kentucky, with an initial capacity of 1GWh rising to 20GWh. Multi-state utility Dominion Energy recently announced plans to deploy EnerVENue’s tech in a pilot project.
