The US Department of Energy (DOE) has expanded its commitment to a Just Transition for Clean Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) with a new web resource, Clean Hydgen and Environmental Justice. The resource aims to present HFTO’s environmental justice (EJ) work externally and solicit input from stakeholders. It also includes a detailed outline of HFTo’S EJ strategy, including Listening, Engaging, and Increasing Transparency, Prioritizing Safety and Positive Impacts, Lowering Barriers to Funding, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. H FTO is also seeking applications for a Hydrogen Shot Fellow to work on its Environmental Justice and Community Engagement team.
