Cypress Creek Completes 208 MW Solar Facility in Texas, Boosting Local Economy and Education Funding.

Cypress Creek Renewables has completed construction of a 208 MW solar facility in Texas. The facility includes 80 MWh of short-duration energy storage, enabling it to serve the equivalent of 41,600 homes in the Brackettville, Texas area. The site reached commercial operation on May 2 and is expected to generate over $11.5 million in tax revenues for the county, with $10.7 million earmarked for the Bracket Independent School District. The project was financed by the North American Development Bank (NADBank), a binational financial institution established to support projects that enhance the environmental well-being of the United States and Mexico. Cypress Creek, founded in 2014, operates nearly 1 GW of solar and storage assets across Texas, including 18 Cypress-owned projects.
