CWP Global and Corner Brook Port Corporation Partner to Develop Green Hydrogen Hub in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Renewables developer CWP Global and Corner Brook Port Corporation (CPBC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to consider the development of a green hydrogen hub at an industrial port in Newfoundland and Labrador. Project Gwinya is expected to use up to 5 GW of wind power capacity to produce green hydrogen and will also include a green-powered hot briquetted iron (HBI) plant for the production of green iron. CWP plans to proceed towards the formal filing of project registration, launching an environmental assessment process and conducting a feasibility study to assess various aspects of the proposed hub.
