CuraScientific Corp. Unveils Low-Cost Hydrogen Fuel Cell for Residential Solar Energy Storage, Targeting $200 Million Revenue.

CuraScientific Corp. has announced that Sustainable Energy Group Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, is developing a low-cost hydrogen fuel cell intended to function as residential solar batteries. The company has a target revenue of $200 million for these H2 solar batteries, which are designed to provide solar panels with a battery that can store excess energy from the sun during the daytime and then be stored at night or during low light. The technology combines H2 fuel cells with battery storage, offering residential customers a cost-effective and reliable way to transition away from dependency on a carbon emitting grid. Studies have shown that using solar power and the H2 battery would help reduce energy costs by about 61 percent per year and reduce fossil fuel grid dependence by an additional 38 percent.
