Cummins Inc. Advances Hydrogen Economy with New Plants and Innovative Hydrogen-Powered Engines for Agriculture Applications.

Cummins Inc. has committed to the hydrogen economy as part of its Destination Zero strategy. The company is focusing on the entire hydrogen value chain, including the production of green hydrogen, the management and transportation of hydrogen, and the application of hydrogen in engines and fuel cells. The focus is on creating new electrolyzer plants in Spain and Minnesota, USA, expanding production at Oevel, Belgium and Mississauga, Canada. Cummins is also developing hydrogen powered combustion engines that align with current vehicle designs and provide reliability and durability equal to diesel. The B6.7H hydrogen engine is designed to meet the demands of agricultural equipment and is robust to meet environmental conditions in agriculture applications. The partnership with NPROXX, a world leader in high pressure hydrogen storage for both stationary and mobile applications, will support the OEM integration process.
