Cubico Sustainable Investments has commissioned the Delta’s Edge solar farm in Mississippi, producing 135 MWdc of clean energy to power 14,000+ homes & businesses. The solar farm will operate under a 15-year power purchase agreement with Mississippi-based utility Cooperative Energy and will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 5,000 tons per year. With this project, Cubico has raised its operational renewables capacity in North America to over 1.4 GW, with an additional 270 MW projects under construction and around 1 GW of projects in development in the US. The project also provides employment opportunities for up to 200 construction workers and 10 permanent jobs.
