Chevron’s GM of Hydrogen Products, Matias Saettone, has emphasized the essential role of hydrogen in achieving low carbon and ultimately, zero carbon emissions. At the Hydrogen North America 2023 conference in Houston, Saetone highlighted the importance of collaboration and the pivotal importance of hydrogen’s role in achieving zero carbon. He highlighted Chevron’s ACES Delta project, a hydrogen production, storage, and utilization project in partnership with Mitsubishi Power, as a crucial step in advancing lower carbon intensity solutions in Utah. Both Saetones and Brett Perlman, CEO of the Center for Houston’s Future, emphasised the importance for federal and state governments to facilitate community collaboration and promote market growth.
