Chevron Technology Ventures, the venture capital division of Chevron Corp (NYSE:CVX), has launched its Future Energy Fund III, a vehicle to invest in lower carbon innovations. The fund will be focused on industrial decarbonisation, emerging mobility, energy decentralisation, and the circular carbon economy. It will also expand investment in the fields of new low-carbon fuels, advanced materials and converting carbon to higher-value products. This follows on from Chevron Technology Ventures’ Future Energy Funds I and II, which have already invested in over 30 companies with over 250 co-investors.
