Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE:BAM, TSX:Bam) has agreed to invest up to € 1.1bn ($EUR 997m) into US electrofuels provider Infinium’s platform, specifically its Project Roadrunner facility in West Texas. The Canadian investor will invest over USD 200 million in the company and up to USD 850 million to support the deployment of other projects globally. The investment will be made through the Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF I). Brookfield will also lead in Infinim’s Series C Preferred Stock offering.
