BrightNight Secures $375 Million Credit Facility to Advance Solar and Storage Projects Across Arizona and Kentucky

BrightNight has closed a US$375 million corporate credit facility to fund solar and storage projects. The move aligns with the Green Loan Principles, which are designed to encourage greater investment into renewable energy projects. BrightNight is currently developing four solar projects in the US states of Arizona and Kentucky, with a combined capacity of 845MW. The funding will be used to provide equipment deposits, letters of credit and project buildout across its development pipeline. The company did not specify how the money would be split among its current projects. This follows BrightNight’s investments into new solar projects and battery storage projects, including an 800MW solar project in Kentucky and a 300MW PV plant in Arizona.
