Borrego Energy, a developer, EPC and O&M provider for large-scale solar and energy storage projects in the United States, has rebranded its O.M operations as Cleanleaf Energy. Cleanleaf will provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services to utility and commercial solar battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the country. The former Borrego personnel remain in place, with Mikael Backman, previously president of the Borrega O& M division, now taking over as CEO of Cleanleaf. Cleanle Energy manages and operates over 1.9 GW across 1,000 solar and battery energy projects, including utility-scale plants.
