Biden Cabinet Officials Launch Nationwide Tour to Promote Lowering Costs Ahead of November Presidential Election

Biden Cabinet officials are set to embark on a nationwide tour to promote the administration’s efforts to lower costs, a topic of discussion ahead of the November presidential election. Officials from the administration, including Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, EPA Administrator Michael Regan, Agricultural Secretary Tom Vilsack, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and others, will travel across the country to discuss their “Biden-Harris Lowering Costs Agenda” which includes housing, health care, utility bills and groceries. Granholm’s trips will include stops in California’s San Francisco Bay Area and Las Vegas, Nevada, to discuss lowering energy bills through energy efficiency upgrades and another in Reno, Nevada. Regan will speak about the administration’�s actions to lower energy and transportation costs for lower-income and overburdened communities.
