Badger Hollow Solar Park Powers Molson Coors in Wisconsin with 300 MW Renewable Energy Project

Badger Hollow Solar Park in southwest Wisconsin will provide renewable energy to power Molson Coors’ operations in the state. The 300 MW solar installation, developed by Invenergy, generates enough electricity to power 90,000 homes and provides tax revenue from shared leasing of the facility on farmland. The project was developed in two 150 MW stages and features a total of 830,000 bifacial solar modules on trackers. Wisconsin Public Service owns 100 MW of Stage 1, while Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) owns 50 MW of the second phase, We Energies, and MGE jointly own the second stage. Molson coors is participating in the Energy for Tomorrow subscription program, which allows companies, local governments, and other users to buy a share of the energy produced.
