Avangrid Foundation is inviting organizations within its service areas to apply for grants to support the care and protection of habitats and wildlife. The program has given a total of more than $500,000 to centers nationwide since its launch in 2016. Organizations must have more than one year of operating activity and hold current permits from the appropriate agencies to handle and rehabilitate wildlife. All organizations must complete and e-mail a funding request by midnight on September 25, 2023 to avangridfoundation@avangrid.com. Avangrid is an independent, nonprofit organization that funds philanthropic investments that primarily impact communities where AVANGRID, Inc. and its subsidiaries operate.
