Aspen Power Completes 14 Solar Projects in Georgia, Boosting Capacity to 140 MW DC for Georgia Power.

Aspen Power, a US distributed generation platform, has completed the construction of 14 solar projects in Georgia, with a combined generation capacity of 49.4 MW DC. The projects were acquired from Inman Solar, which originated and developed the projects and provided engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services. Aspen Power will be the long-term owner and operator of these projects, adding to its total of 43 facilities in Georgia totalling 140MW DC. These projects, which are ground-mounted solar systems with single axis trackers, are located in the southeastern part of the state and will supply electricity directly to Georgia Power under long-time power purchase agreements from the 2020 Distributed Generation Request for Proposal.
