He argues that the current approach to hydrogen development is misguided and recommends a decentralized approach where individuals own and operate their own conversion units. This is in contrast to the current, government funded approach. He compares the Wright brothers’ first flight in 1903 to current hydrogen technology, and believes that if the right approach is taken, hydrogen can play a significant role in the global energy situation. The biggest challenge is changing the mindset of people stuck in the current system.
