Arizona-based renewable energy developer, owner, and operator, Arevon Energy, is investing millions of dollars in Indiana to build a series of solar power projects in the state of Pike County. The company celebrated the groundbreaking for the 192-MW Ratts 1 Solar Project near Petersburg in Pike County on August 21 and began construction of the 73-MW Heirloom Solar Project. The two projects represent an investment of about $400 million and are expected to create about 200 construction jobs. Arevon also plans to announce construction of another utility-scale solar power project in the near future. The firm has nearly 3.8 GW of solar and storage facilities currently operating or under construction, with nearly 5 GW of projects under development across the U.S.
