Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) to off-take all electricity from the 150-MWac Fox Squirrel Solar Phase 1 plant in Ohio. The agreement was announced by EDF Renewables North America, part of French utility EDF Group, and Enbridge Inc, who own the project 50/50. The solar farm will be expanded to reach 577 MWac at the end of 2024, with Phase 2 adding 250 MWac/325 MWp and Phase 3 of 177 MWac or 230 MWp.
