Impact investment firm Advantage Capital has appointed energy executive Steven Lichtin as managing director and CEO of Advantage Capital Renewables, bringing nearly 15 years of experience developing solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. The company also announced that CEO Kyle Udseth will resign from Pineapple Energy, a provider of sustainable solar energy and backup power to households and small businesses, effective immediately. Scott Maskin, a 23-year veteran of the solar industry, will assume the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer. Rob Berntsen has been named as Xcel Energy’s executive vice president and chief legal and compliance officer, taking over from Amanda Rome.
