Frontier is a combined cycle power plant located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, within the Midwest Reliability Organization’s NERC region. With an operating capacity of 126 MW, it plays a vital role in the Southwest Power Pool’s power control area. The plant is operated and majority-owned by the Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company, a subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp, and is regulated under state guidelines. Frontier utilizes natural gas as its primary fuel source, sourcing it through the Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline.
